Hello, I am Baiting Lu from Datong, Shanxi. I studied Polymer Materials and Engineering at Jilin University and carried out undergraduate research in Prof. Guanglu Wu’s group. On May 20, 2026, I successfully defended my undergraduate thesis, which focused on the synthesis and host–guest behavior of TIPNO-type water-soluble nitroxide radicals and their alkoxyamines. After completing my bachelor’s degree, I was honored to remain in the group as a 2026 direct-entry PhD student and continue learning and conducting research with everyone. I am interested in new polymeric materials and hope to develop the ability to conduct independent research, grow together with the team, and explore valuable scientific questions in the age of AI. Outside the lab, I enjoy reading science fiction and fantasy novels, listening to music, and playing games.
