Guanglu Wu is currently a PI and professor of supramolecular chemistry at State Key Laboratory of Supramolecular Structure and Materials, Jilin University. His recent research focuses on “rational design, precise preparation, and dynamic control of multi-component functional assemblies”. He has established a set of effective strategies for the quantitative preparation of multi-component assemblies and corresponding materials. Molecular assembly systems constructed in his research exhibit characteristics stemmed from the cooperation among multiple components, such as dimerization-induced fluorescence enhancement, high-efficiency intermolecular energy transfer, sequence-specific structural chirality, artificial peptide folding, etc.
