Siyuan Xu studied chemistry at Jilin University and carried out undergraduate research training in Prof. Guanglu Wu’s group. On May 20, 2026, she successfully defended her undergraduate thesis. Her thesis work focused on the construction of supported gold nanoparticle catalysts regulated by CB[7]-POM. During her time in the group, she actively participated in research related to supramolecular catalysis, demonstrating a solid theoretical foundation and strong research ability. After completing her undergraduate studies, Siyuan will pursue doctoral study at Peking University.

In her earlier self-introduction, Siyuan wrote that she comes from Jinan, Shandong, and aspires to become an accomplished chemist through her own efforts. She also hoped to acquire research skills, understand scientific thinking, and make more friends in the group.
