I am Xinrui Yang from Hegang, Heilongjiang. In September 2026, I began doctoral studies in Polymer Chemistry and Physics at the College of Chemistry, Jilin University, and joined Prof. Guanglu Wu’s group. My research interests include chemical biology, protein design and engineering, protein assembly, synthetic biology, and biomanufacturing. During my master’s studies in Microbial and Biochemical Pharmacy at the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Jilin University, I mainly worked on biomanufacturing and enzyme engineering. I am a typical Gemini and ESFJ: my personality and moods can be changeable, but I have a sensitive and rich inner world and remain enthusiastic about new experiences. Outside the lab, I enjoy movies, Western pop and K-pop, food, and travel.
