On May 22, 2026, master’s students Zhengkang Wang and Meng Yang successfully defended their master’s theses, completing an important milestone in their graduate training. Professors Lixin Wu, Wen Li, and Jinsong Yuan served on the examination committee for the formal defense.
On May 20, 2026, undergraduate students Borui Yao, Siyuan Xu, and Baiting Lu successfully defended their undergraduate theses, marking the completion of an important academic milestone in their undergraduate training.
On March 13, 2026, Tianyi Yang, a PhD student in our group, successfully defended her doctoral dissertation, marking the successful completion of a major milestone in her doctoral training.
During her time in the group, Tianyi focused on multicomponent assembly systems based on cucurbiturils, with particular emphasis on assembly kinetics and dynamic behavior.
On September 1, 2025, our doctoral student Jia Liu successfully defended her Ph.D. dissertation and was officially awarded the doctoral degree, becoming the first Ph.D. graduate of Guanglu Lab.
Since joining the group, Jia has focused on cucurbituril-based noncovalent assembly systems, making steady progress in areas such as chiral folding assemblies and binary assemblies driven by π–π stacking.
On May 23, 2025, our group member Zixiang Wang successfully defended his master’s thesis. During the defense, Zixiang demonstrated great scientific literacy and presentation skills, earning unanimous praise from the examination committee.
On August 31, 2024, Wang Ruiqi successfully defended her master’s thesis, becoming the first master’s graduate from Guanglu Lab.
For the past three years, she has played a key role in coordinating academic activities and ensuring the smooth running of lab affairs.
