On May 26, 2026, Dr. Mingshen Lin visited our university and delivered an engaging seminar on isothermal titration calorimetry to faculty and students. In his talk, Dr. Lin first gave a systematic introduction to the definition and importance of molecular interactions, noting that they are central to many areas of chemistry, biology, medicine, and related fields.

On May 22, 2026, master’s students Zhengkang Wang and Meng Yang successfully defended their master’s theses, completing an important milestone in their graduate training. Professors Lixin Wu, Wen Li, and Jinsong Yuan served on the examination committee for the formal defense.

From April 11 to 14, 2026, the 35th Annual Meeting of the Chinese Chemical Society was held at Chongqing Science Hall. Prof. Guanglu Wu attended the meeting with 11 students from the group.

On the evening of March 17, 2026, the Supramolecular Materials Interdisciplinary Innovation Team held its first online joint group meeting. The meeting featured a talk by Prof. Guanglu Wu titled “Understanding and Measuring Binding Constants,” focusing on the physical meaning, experimental measurement, and data analysis of binding constants in supramolecular systems.

On March 13, 2026, Tianyi Yang, a PhD student in our group, successfully defended her doctoral dissertation, marking the successful completion of a major milestone in her doctoral training. During her time in the group, Tianyi focused on multicomponent assembly systems based on cucurbiturils, with particular emphasis on assembly kinetics and dynamic behavior.

On March 13, 2026, Hao Li from Zhejiang University visited our university and delivered an engaging academic lecture to faculty and students. Li received both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Wuhan University before pursuing doctoral studies at Northwestern University under the supervision of Sir J.
