From May 24 to 31, 2025, the 19th International Symposium on Macrocyclic and Supramolecular Chemistry 2025 (ISMSC2025) was successfully held in Kyoto, Japan. As a premier global event in the field, the conference brought together over 1,000 leading experts and emerging scholars from around the world to discuss the latest advances in macrocyclic and supramolecular chemistry.

On May 23, 2025, our group member Zixiang Wang successfully defended his master’s thesis. During the defense, Zixiang demonstrated great scientific literacy and presentation skills, earning unanimous praise from the examination committee.

On May 14, 2025, Professor Wei Zhang from University of Colorado Boulder, was invited to visit us and delivered an engaging academic lecture titled ‘Unlocking Innovative Crystalline Polymer Architectures with Dynamic Covalent Chemistry.

From May 11 to 13, 2025, Prof. Rinaldo Poli, member of the Academia Europaea and faculty at the INP Toulouse, France, visited the State Key Laboratory of Supramolecular Structure and Materials.

“The 21st century is the century of biology.” In recent years, the Nobel Prize in Chemistry has frequently been awarded to biologically-oriented research, reinforcing this statement and highlighting the increasing convergence between chemistry and life sciences.

On March 28, 2025, Dr Yu Xi from Tianjin University was invited to visit our institute and delivered a compelling academic lecture titled “Intelligent Agents for Polymer Composite Research Based on Heterogeneous Databases and Large Language Models.
